Perhaps no other buzzword has come along in the last year or so than the term "cancel culture." That and the idea of being "woke" are pervasive points of view seeping into society as a whole and also the church. In this week's episode, Derek and Corrie unpack a bit of what cancel culture is and how we can approach it as Christians. In Christ, we are made new. Our lives are redeemable, even as the new rules of society want to punish and "cancel" any behavior it believes wrong. Jesus is the standard we must cling to, even if persecution is around the corner. Standing on truth rooted in the word of God is our best weapon against the evil practice of cancel culture.
